Adventure Kayak Publisher Scott MacGregor has just signed a release allowing permission for Adventure Kayak magazine to be used in an upcoming Hollywood film titled I Am Number 4.

The following is an excerpt from the release form.

We would like to obtain permission to use the publication as set dressing for John’s room as well as in scenes when he builds a bonfire and burns things from his room (don’t worry-the publication isn’t one of the things he burns).

As you can imagine we are pretty excited about AK being on the big screen.

The film is about nine alien teens that come to Earth after their planet is destroyed by an enemy species. But they soon discover that their enemy is now after them on Earth.

The movie is based on the book I Am Number 4 from author Pitacus Lore and is currently in pre-production.  The book is available for pre-order at Amazon.com.
