This summer, expedition kayaker and Adventure Kayak contributor, Jon Turk will be joined by whitewater expedition paddler, Eric Boomer on a first ever kayak expedition around Ellesmere Island. 

An unlikely duo the team was originally a trio with "young gun" whitewater expedition paddler Tyler Bradt. Following a tragic accident on Oregons 101-foot Abiqua Falls Bradt was forced to withdraw from the expedition team due to a serious back injury resulting in surgery involving rods, pins and a 12 week recovery period.
