Just when you thought you had it narrowed down to what your new boat was going to be.  April 2010 Elie announces the release of 19 different models of kayaks in the touring, recreational, sit on top and fishing categories.

 

The categories will include the following:

The Strait Family 12-foot 120 and 120XE touring kayaks and the 14-foot 140 and 140 XE kayaks will appeal to more advanced paddlers for longer trips on larger and more challenging bodies of water. In addition to the adjustable and flexible Ergoflex Seating System™ found in all four models, the 120XE and 140XE kayaks feature Fluid Steering System™ adjustable rudders.

The Sound Family 10-ft and 12-ft recreational kayaks feature a larger cockpit, which appeals to novice paddlers, and navigate well even in choppy waters. Both the 100 and 120 feature adjustable padded backrests and padded seat cushions, while the 100XE, 120XE and 120XE Angler for sport fishing, offer the Egroflex Seating System.

The Horizon Family features six sit-on-top models ranging from 8 to 15 feet, all of which come with adjustable backrests and padded seat cushions. Some models come with adjustable footrests, paddle tie-downs and several different storage hatches.

The Horizon Family of Sport Fishing kayaks offer four models between 10 and 15 feet each with a Scotty™ swivel rod holder and stern storage platform among many other features. The 116, 130 and 150 models also include a tackle box and bow storage hatch.
