The Great Lakes Sea Kayak Symposium takes place on July 15th to 18th in Grand Marais Michigan.





According to organizers GLSKS is the oldest sea kayaking symposium on the Great Lakes.

The event organizers also say that Grand Marais Michigan, has a protected harbor that is ideal for class sessions and skills practice.

There is also the convenience of this location being the perfect starting point for unforgettable trips along the scenic Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Whether you are being introduced to kayaking for the first time or you have been on the water for years, attendees will enjoy learning from a team of qualified, highly experienced kayakers.

Not too mention the woman on black, Freya Hoffmeister will be attending the event to talk about her amazing kayaking accomplishments.
