After a late start due to shipping issues with their kayaks Marcus Demuth's and Biff Wruszek's expedition has now come to a complete hault. Adverse weather, specifically severe winds caused the expedition to be postponed till a later date.

 

 

 

The expeditions original launch date of December 16th, 2009, was delayed by a few weeks due to logistical issues with their kayaks. Was late arrival of their boats a contributing factor to the wind conditions they encountered? The team abondoned their mission by helicopter and was forced to leave their kayaks behind.  Here's a video summary of their accomplished portion of the expedition and the realization of the early ending.
