Seriously... There is an app available to turn your iPhone into a flashlight.











It's kind of funny. Everytime I get report of these iPhone apps it reminds me of the ad campaign they ran when the iPhone first came out. I believe the catch phrase was "There's an ap for that". Well they weren't kidding.

iFlashlight is my latest ap dicovery and at first I thought it was a bit ridiculous... but then I read about it.

It turns your screen white.  Don’t underestimate the usefulness of this.  How many people have used there cell phone screen as a quick light in the car.  It also gives you red (great for stargazing), green, blue, black (not sure what that is good for), custom color, all of which can be brightened or dimmed.
