Blades of Glory
Paddle manufacturer H2O recently introduced their new Crystal-X paddles to paddlers at the 2010 National Sea Kayak Symposium in Palmer Rapids, Ontario.
We have photographic evidence of H2O representatives severely abusing these paddles by means of carpenters hammer. Surprisingly the paddles just stood there and took it with no signs of weakness.

Here’s what H2O has to say about the latest addition to their line-up.
Check out what writer Tim Shuff had to say about these and other paddles under the In the Hatch section in the latest issue of Adventure Kayak magazine.H2O's new transparent Touring paddle series incorporates the latest in Injection moulding technologies. Proprietary blend of polymers, moulded at extreme high temperatures, which create the worlds strongest transparent blade possible. State of the art materials engineering, coupled with an efficient blade design creates an unrivaled paddling experience.
The H2O-Crystal Series Tour paddles are the epitome of performance and esthetics.
The transparent Multi-Component blade design provides incredible performance, with maximum feedback, for a paddle that rivals a full carbon unit at a fraction of the price. High and low angle available.
